Common sense?

There has grown up in the minds of certain groups in this country the notion that because a man or corporation has made a profit out of the public for a number of years, the government and the courts are charged with the duty of guaranteeing such profit in the future, even in the face of changing circumstances and contrary to public interest. So, yeah. This morning.

OK, so here's what happened this morning: I'm sitting in my office working and I hear adult masculine voices outside that I don't recognize. This never happens. I'm used to hearing kids, sure...but never adults. I peeked out the window and didn't see anything, but just for grins and giggles I grabbed my shotgun out of the gun safe and locked a round in the chamber. Sat it up on top of my desk.
